Cherie Simpsonis an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and is board certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health.
She received her Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing where she taught as an assistant professor and conducted research in health promotion for family and friends caring for someone with dementia. She has spent the last 20 years of her career in geriatric psychiatry.
At ATX Primary Care, she will focus on the early detection of perceived cognitive change and memory loss providing information, education, and options for treatment, supporting both the patient and their family on their journey.
